Kenya Visa
In Kenya, immigration services allow foreign nationals of some countries to enter for a period of up to three months without making a visa application.
Countries benefiting from this waiver include a selection of Commonwealth countries, and various African nations.
However, for most foreign nationals including citizens of the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia, applying for a Kenyan visa is an essential requirement to visit or immigrate to Kenya for any length of time.

Kenya Travel Visa
In Kenya, travel visas are usually issued for a period of up to three months. Although a multiple entry visa can be issued. At present this is only issued to nationals of the United Kingdom.
These Kenyan visas are issued as a temporary short stay visa service and are intended for those who wish to spend a holiday in Kenya and will be returning to their country of residence afterwards
Candidates applying for a Kenyan tourist visa will need to include a range of supporting documentation including a valid passport, and confirmation of the purpose of the visit.
Kenya Business Visa
Kenyan business visas are issued to foreign nationals relocating to Kenya for a temporary period in order to engage in business related activities such as attending conferences and meetings.
In Kenya, visa applications of this type do not entitle the holder to work in Kenya. A business visa does not function as a work permit, and holders may not engage in any employment or be paid during their business activities in Kenya.
The requirements for a business visa for Kenya are similar to those for a visitor visa with the addition of a letter from the candidate's employer detailing the proposed duration of the stay and the nature of the trip to Kenya. The letter must also state that the company accepts financial responsibility for the applicant.
Kenya Transit Visa
Kenyan Transit visas are intended for foreign nationals who intend to transit through the country en route to another destination. A Kenyan transit visa can be issued for a maximum stay of seven days.
Processing Times and Fees
In Kenya, visas may be processed within three to four working days, however, as with immigration services for many countries, both processing times and fees may be subject to change and vary depending on the nationality of the applicant and the type of entry clearance being sought.
